Chadwick Studio was asked to come up with a solution for home step ladder.

OXO was looking to break into the ladder market since there remains a void in the marketplace for well designed, multifunctional step ladders. Research showed that the target market was primarily female in search of a light weight, 2 and 3 step ladder that could be opened single handed, and provide a work tray that would hold items needed for the task at hand.The ladder program was intended to act as a tool to cross sell other items in the product line-up.
Unfortunately, the ladder never went to market.
